Wierzbicki best paper award
The Wierzbicki Award (honorary) shall recognize the best paper with a strong theoretical and/or computational contribution published in IJIE during the calendar year preceding the conference. It is named after Prof. Tomasz Wierzbicki (MIT) who is one of the founders of this conference series and acted as Associate Editor of IJIE until 2009.
TX Yu best paper award
The TX Yu Award (honorary) shall recognize the best paper with a strong experimental contribution published in IJIE during the calendar year preceding the conference. It is named after Prof. TX Yu (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) who has been acting as Associate Editor of IJIE from 1998 until 2016.
IJIE Young Investigator award
The IJIE Young Investigator Award shall recognize an exceptional junior scholar who has demonstrated outstanding promise and activity in impact engineering. Eligible candidates shall be within twelve years of receiving their PhD at the time of the award session.
Langseth Medal
The Langseth Medal shall recognize an exceptional senior scholar who has made outstanding contributions to the success, visibility, and scientific standing of IJIE. The award shall acknowledge sustained scholarly excellence as well as service to the journal and to the broader impact engineering community.
